The Brilliant Proof
In 1911, during Abdul-Bahas first visit to Britain, he was invited into certain churches and welcomed warmly by Christian clergymen of liberal mind. This outraged conservative Christian ministers. Within a short time, the journal Evangelical Christendom published a scurrilous attack on the Bahai Faith and its Central Figures. When this article was shown to Mirza Abul-Fadl, then and now regarded as the greatest Bahai scholar, he immediately penned a reply, which Abdul-Baha titled The Brilliant Proof.
Here, for the first time since its early printing, is Abul-Fadls response, a masterful exposition of the Bahai teachings. Also included in this volume: the original essay which sparked the controversy and a new foreword that provides historical background. This is exciting and enlightening reading!
